Binance, the world’s largest cryptovalue exchange, has been banned by the UK financial regulator.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) says the platform is no longer allowed to conduct regulated activity in the UK.
Binance.com offers consumers a wide range of financial products and services, including securities, savings accounts and even loans.
Binance Group is based in the Cayman Islands, but has a dochrer Binance Markets Limited in London.
In the US, one of the company’s entities – Binance Holdings – has already been investigated by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for suspected money laundering.
