Google Cloud has become an important part of the crypto ecosystem thanks to their long-term partnership with Chainlink and Ethereum. They also work closely with Solana this week.
Google’s Blockchain Node Engine is currently being co-worked with Solana in order to move it over to the Solana blockchain. Google’s node is currently operating on a Solana fork and next year, their collaboration will also be reciprocal.
Google revealed their Blockchain Node Engine in October. This program runs nodes for different blockchains, including Ethereum and Solana’s.

Software from Google is planned to be integrated into the Solana blockchain starting in 2023. At this moment, they already have one node in motion. This partnership goes both ways, as both sides are working towards the same goal. By pushing the idea behind it, everyone can spin a node from Solana in their cloud. No personal computers are required for this.
Google Cloud combines Solana and the Blockchain Node Engine through the Google Cloud Engine Engine. Doing so helps Google index the Solana blockchain and transfer data to Big Query in the upcoming year. This helps developers access historical data much easier and faster.
